Lunch Recommendation near Valley of Fire State Park
Can anyone recommend a place to eat lunch near Valley of Fire State Park? We will be driving from Springdale to Lake Las Vegas and will be stopping on the way to visit the park.
Thanks,
Amy

Assume you mean Lake Mead and the Las Vegas area. As far as I can remember there isn't much around the Valley of Fire area other than a very nice camping area in the park. You might take a picnic and enjoy the red rocks while eating your lunch!

We just returned from Las Vegas and had taken a tour to the Valley of Fire. There is no place inside to eat. The visitor's center does NOT have any type of food or drinks available so be sure to pack some snacks and bottled water for yourselves.

The border town of Mesquite would be you last stop before reaching the Valley of Fire. It's about 1 hour to the Valley of Fire from there.
On the eastern side of the VOF, there is a small town called Overton. You could probably get some snacks there.
If you are planning to drive to Lake Las Vegas via Lake Mead look for the various marinas. They'll offer services that cater to boaters. Echo Bay has a restaurant and a store where you can buy snacks. Don't expect much though.
