Lunch near the downtown Seattle Hilton?

Well it seems that after we pick up our friends next Tuesday at the SEA airport, we need to stop by downtown on our way to Vancouver to register him as a second driver. National is at the Hilton, 6th Avenue and University, I believe. Since it will be about noon, any place right there for a fairly quick but good lunch?

Palomino is a possibility. Sit down or quick service in the bar area--excellent thin crust pizza among other goodies.

Several okay places a block or two down 6th at the Pacific Place center - Japanese, Italian, pub, etc.

Skip the cafe in the Hilton if you can.

Hmm. I love Palomino in Minneapolis and San Fransisco, but forgot about the one in Seattle -- and we've even been there! Good idea, or we'll walk by the Pacific Place and see what we find. Thanks for the ideas. I'm hoping we can just leave the car at National for a while -- but won't hold my breath.

In case National won't keep your car for you, the garage at Pacific Place, being publicly subsidized, has the best parking rates downtown.

Within Pacific Place, pizza Christina is a treat at Il Fornaio, as is the calamari and outstanding antipasto.
