lunch in Nashua, NH

I am seeking somewhere to have a nice lunch while we do an errand in Nashua on a Saturday. Do you have a favorite place?
Any type of food, simple or elegant, any ethnicity as long as well prepared, would be great.
no chains, please.
Thanks.

Tacos Colima is good if you like Mexican, seems good Mexican food is hard to come by up that way.

And a nice lil spot for soup and sandwich:

I've only been here once but enjoyed it. You'll have to have good directions, it's in a residential area of one way streets but pretty close to the hwy

There's a branch of Saigon Asia Market in Nashua (again, you need good directions to find it). Just before lunch, freshly prepared food is delivered. I would grab a bahn mi sandwich and one of the strange looking desserts but I'm not fussy about how long something has not been refrigerated. You should also be able to get the grinder rolls and "pork" sandwich meat used for the sandwiches to make your own. They are different than Italian sub rolls. Not sure how the bahn mi compares with something you would buy in Chinatown but I haven't managed a Chinatown bahn mi yet.

I think I answered you on another site....I mentioned Pickity Place.

And I agree with dfrost on Kiku.

Also, a new Turkish place opened in Hudson (next town over) called Mavi Bistro that is getting very good reviews.

yes, rizzo, pickity place looks very interesting. ANd will check out Mavi Bistro as we have no turkish food here. Thanks

Make sure you have reservations for Pickety Place. Despite its off the beaten path location, it's very popular. One year my sister thought she would have no problem with a November saturday and didn't call until the week of and they were full. It's a very fun place in the late spring when they have plants to sell and you can explore their gardens.
