Lunch in Glacier Nat'l Park
 

We arrive at Kalispell Airport around 1:00 p.m. tomorrow. We're driving to St. Mary but want to stop and have lunch along the way. Any suggestions for our first meal? We'll be having a late breakfast around 10:00 a.m., our layover, so we can drive awhile but don't want to go too far off our path to St. Mary.

Forgot, since GTSR isn't open, we'll be going the alternate route.

Hello from northwest Montana. Sun Road is scheduled to open Saturday on the East side depending on weather. We are expecting very heavy rainfall Saturday with flood watches for small streams. That could effect the opening of the Sun road. Road is still closed at Avalanche Creek on the west side due to some road repair.
For lunch. there is only one place you'll want to stop and that is the Izaak Walton Inn at Essex, Montana. Directly on highway 2 on your way.
