Luaus on Maui -lets talk food

Which Luau on Maui did you attend and what did you think of the food. Not really looking for the show reviews just the food.

If you have done more then one Luau, which did you enjoy the food at more

Thanks

I have only been to one, Old Lahaina Luau which I enjoyed very much. The food was fine and all the dishes I hoped to find (taste, try) were included on the buffet.

I remember really enjoying the food at the Marriott luau in Kaanapali. Unlike some luaus where they bring the individual plates to the tables, the Marriott's was buffet style. Besides the usual fare, what sticks out most was their terryaki beef. Quite yummy!

Aloha!

Kopp, I really liked the Marriott luau as well and was very disappointed to hear that it is "no more". The company that produced it is at the Sheraton now so that's an option.

DawnCt - well, that's too bad. Their show was outstanding, especially the fire knife dancers. There were about 5 or 6 of them with the fire at one time. Very exciting!

They must have done away with it once they turned the hotel into timeshares.
