Love opinions

I was in Vegas about two months ago and was able to see "Love" at the Mirage. I have to say I was a little disappointed. After the show scores of other audience members seemed to be raving about the show and I just don't get it. I can't argue the fact that the music was terrific - gotta love the Beatles - But what else did everyone like about the show?

So far, Love is the only Vegas show I've been to that I actually loved. It was the whole spirit of the show that made it so special to me. I'd go again in a heartbeat!

Went to see Love a couple of weeks ago, loved the music, thought the staging/acrobatics was great - didn't think the two went together though. If there was a storyline I didn't get it. Shame as it was one of the few things we had pre booked in Vegas and although not totally disappointed were certainly not wowed.

I wasn't overwhelmed by "Love" either.

Most Vegas shows do not have a storyline, or at least one that make sense (especially the cirque ones). Since I can't help but look for a point in a show, I find that I don't enjoy those kind of shows.

Storyline = All you need is LOVE.
That's what life is all about.

As the saying goes, "To each his/her own." I've seen 4 Cirque shows in Vegas and Love is my favorite. While most people rave about O, I enjoyed Mystere more. We're headed to see Chris Angel (another Cirque production), in a few weeks. Though the early reviews have not been great, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
