Love Letter to Boston
I just returned from a great week in Boston and I LOVE this city!! We hiked the Freedom Trail, visited the JFK library, took in the Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard, Boston Public Library and Copley Plaza. Ate several great meals. Between the history, the art, the architecture, the very European feeling North End....something for everyone. It exceeded my expectations. Go Red Sox!

My daughter lives there in Back Bay, so I have to agree! If you go in the summer, you can ride the swan boats.
Can't wait to go back! |
So glad you loved our city !! You went to some great places, and there are many more left to see - so come back soon !

Boston is a great town. My parents used to live across the harbor, on the wharf in Charleston, accessible by a small commuter ferry, with stunning views of the skyline. I lived in Back Bay on Newbury Street in a teeny apartment that I shared with 2 other gals (single and in our 20s, can you guess?). But my favorite is probably the North End. The food!!!

Hi expecting! We walked through Charleston...did Disney do it?? It seemed too picturesque to be real. I'll bet Newbury Street was a great place to be a young single. I got married right out of college and missed that young urban experience.

Welcome and thank you, from another who appreciates your love for our city.
The skating rink opened on the common and the lights are up. |
Ah, another love letter to the wonderful city of Boston. I lived there, also in an apartment on Newbury St., for seven years. My body is in North Carolina now, but Boston owns my soul!

YAY!
So glad you loved our city! Come back anytime =) |
I love Boston, I'm going to New England to visit family in two days and will definately spend a couple of days there. I cannot wait. Boston is on my VERY short list of places in the US I could see myself living.

Once upon a time, and a very looong time ago, we had our first apt. at 59 Pinckney St. (at $75 dollars a month)- right across from Louisburg Square! That was when there was still a Scollay Square, and the West End was intact and a wonderful neighborhood, where I did my public health segment in nursing school.
