We will be there all day Saturday staying at The Brown Hotel. Is there anything fun happening during the day?

Lville Courier Journal today lists under Events: Ky Flea Market at the Ky Fair and Expo center 10-7 on Saturday; Cat Show Championship at same place, east hall 9-5pm on Sat; Rock the Water Tower festival with hot air balloon tethering, beer garden. Music by The Monarchs and Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes (both well known Lville bands) 4pm-1130PM and much more exciting stuff like this!

Churchill Downs is between racing seasons. However, you can still visit the Kentucky Derby Museum and tour Churchill Downs.

How far is the Kentucky Derby Musuem from the airport?

Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum are one or two exits east of the airport on I-264 (Watterson Expressway). It should take you about 10 minutes to get there. The exits are very well marked.
