los gatos need restaurant or spa recommendation
 

I would like to by a Christmas gift certificate for a young (30ish) married couple who live in Los Gatos.
Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant or day spa.
I went online and two came up that look promising:

The Spa Los Gatos at 100 S. Santa Cruz Ave

Manresa Restaurant at 32 Village Lane

well you can't beat Deo Deca for a restaurant - its at the Los Gatos hotel - beautiful- great food- pretty expensive I think- I have never had to pay for my meal - but nice atmosphere.

Don't know about day spas

Will check with daughter- she slends a lot of time in Los Gatos

Oooh, a gift certificate to Manresa would bena wonderful gift if they appreciate good food! It was recently awarded two Michelin stars.

Just talked to daughter- she really likes the California Cafe- just had lunch there last week- said food was great and nice atmosphere

Manresa I'm told (haven't been) is "world class" -- all the others are "good" I'm sure but this one is "worth a detour" (quoting foodie friends). I think the prices match the reviews.

After checking prices, I decided on California Cafe. It's looks like a great place too. Tell your daughter thanks sunbum.

Daughter lives in Campbell- which is also a cute little place but we always go to Los Gatos when I visit.

It is a darling community sunbum. I'd never been there until a few months ago when we flew up for their wedding in Los Gatos. I love the main street and all the cute little shops.

Have no wisdom to divulge, but...did someone say LOS GATOS???

I want to live in Los Gatos.
