Los Angeles in June

I am going to be in LA for the second week of June and I will be staying at the Westin Bonaventure. I am wondering what the weather will be like and also anything I should not miss.

Also how far will I be from Hollywood Blvd.

Thanks

The weather might be overcast often then. We call it "June gloom" out here. Usually hazy in the morning and burns off in the afternoon. Downtown the temp will be from 75-85..depending on the pattern at the time. You are 4-5 miles from Hollywood Blvd. Could take either 15 or 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Not much to see on Hollywood Blvd. though. Still pretty skanky there, in spite of new Kodak theater. Get tickets for Lion King if you haven't seen it.

Thanks Clover. Can you tell me where Lion King will be playing then?

The Lion King has been playing at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Since you're staying in downtown, also to check and see what's playing at the Ahmanson Theater (right now The Full Monty is on through early June).

You might also want to see who's playing at the Hollywood Bowl while you're in town. And the Getty Center is well worth a visit.

Definitely do the Hollywood Bowl. One of the great unique to L.A. evenings. You can't go wrong.
