Los Angeles for Three Weeks

Hi!!

My family and I are planning a trip to Los Angeles in July. We have been to LA many times, but the purpose of this trip is business and leisure. We will be staying with a group for 6-days of the three weeks.

The questions we are having is where to stay? My family and I have never taken a trip for such a long time. We usually stay in hotels. However, through our research we are finding out that it is going to be quite expensive to stay in hotels for two and half weeks as 5-nights of the trip will be with the group in a hotel that is already booked.

Therefore, does anybody have any other suggestions of where to stay in Los Angeles for two and half weeks?

Thanks so much-

Have you tried vbro.com? They rent apts, condos etc.

Just to clarify...."they" don't rent anything. "VRBO" stands for "vacation rentals by owner" and its an internet site for people to post individual listings for rent. VRBO isn't responsible for the listings, so you have to be careful - talk to the owner, etc., to get a feel for the place, pictures, and the like. We've used it very successfully.

Thanks for the suggestion of using www.vrbo.com. My family and I have looked at the website.

I've never used vbro but so many people on this board seem to love it. Thanks for the clarification, dmlove.

Go to tripadviser for hotel reviews. Try the Embassy Hotel in Santa Monica - just beautiful. Not a typical hotel -large suites.
