Los Angeles/ Anaheim Angels's Stadium Hotel Question

I know you absolutely need a car in the LA area. Can you suggest any hotels or maybe area designation for hotels (Disneyland South? or whatever Anaheim/surrounding area designation) that would be great for getting to the ball park during a short 2 day stay in the area?

I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but I know if you are staying at one of the Disneyland or Anaheim Convention hotels, it would be a fairly short cab ride to Angels Stadium. I have friends who have done this, and there are almost always cabs outside the ballpark during and after games. The Anaheim area has a lot of hotels and chains. Maybe someone else could give you specifics?

There's a Best Western basically across the street from the Big Ed (aka Angels Stadium). The Disneyland area is indeed a short hop to the stadium as well, so you can look at those hotels as well.

Thank you everyone, those answers are just what I needed.

It may be a very fast paced trip out West and much more last minute than most I do. What I meant as designated area etc. in original post, was from what I read on Hotwire. They designate Anaheim itself into sections Disneyland North and Disneyland South. These maps are more confusing to me than what I have come across with other stadium trips. But by your giving me the above locations, I can get a better map of where the Stadium really is in relation to it (other 'burbs etc.)- and it has got to be better than their directional website.

THANK YOU.

If anyone has stayed recently in that area, any input would be gratefully welcome. And that is both positive or negative.
