Los Alamos Worth a Drive?

Spending 3 days in Santa Fe early April and thinking about driving to Los Alamos. Years ago i was able to visit the Trinity Site on the White Sands Missile Range and i thought it might be worth visiting the other end of the Manhattan Project. Worth a day, just a couple of hours or skip?

I made a side trip to Los Alamos several years ago and thought the Bradbury Science Museum was worth my time and very interesting. Whether it is "worth a drive" probably depends on your interests and what you already have planned.

It's worth a couple of hours for the museum, and you could stop at Bandelier National Monument on the way back to Santa Fe if you haven't been there before. http://www.nps.gov/band/index.htm
