Looking for warm beach location in May
 

Where is a nice warm beach location in California that is within 2 hours of Modesto (between Fresno and Monterey) in early May? My husband and I are looking to take a nice weekend trip for a couple days. Thanks for the help

There isn't one. You'd have to go to LA or further south, then you'd still need some luck to hit warm weather.

Pismo beach is about 3 hours from the bay area. I was there several years ago in December and thought it was definitley warmer than the bay area. But I don't know how warm you are looking for.

You'll need to head into Mexico for warm beaches.

Cabo San Lucas, if you want to fly. Any place else on the left coast is too cold in the water in May.
