looking for the best bathroom
Ok, here's the situation. I persuaded my wife to come to Vegas. She isnt thrilled by the prospect of gambling, but she loves a nice room. So, I need reccomendations for who has the best rooms, expecially bathrooms. I cant afford the Bellagio or similar, however, since I will be going over the Christmas break, I do not need a pool. Great service would be a plus. I appreciate your recommendations

Erik, why not take her somewhere she wants to go?? THEN search for a "nice bathroom."
|
Hey Erik, here's an informative site:
http://www.cheapovegas.com/

It describes each hotel's rooms and bathrooms, and even lists which amenities are given by each hotel in their bathrooms. Mandalay Bay and Caesar's Palace sounds like they might be pretty gracious bathroom-wise, and they're a notch below the Bellagio/Venetian price range (though the Venetian would definitely be my first choice if I could afford it!).

Hi Erik,

Looking for a great Vegas Bathroom....try the Venetian. We stayed there at Christmas and the room especially the bathroom was incredible. The bathroom is done in marble with a seperate shower and seperate big tub, also has a vanity area and 2 sinks. The toilet is off to the side of the sink area with a closed door. The bathroom is HUGE, I think they said is was 300 sq feet or so. We enjoyed it very much.

P.S. Tell your wife there is MUCH more to do in Vegas then gamble. There are shows, attractions, and LOTS of shopping too. Each hotel has it's own unique theme and attraction. We were there for 5 days and only spent one evening gambling. There is so much to do and see. Have fun.

That would be so much to do, than gamble, right? Then and than gets rather tricky sometimes.

I stayed at the MGM in Feb 2000 and they had just finished a whole floor od rooms up near the top floors. It is in old movies/actors theme and it smelled NEW and was great. It was an average room, not a suite so the the price was sweet. IDEA FOR YOU....Stay a couple differnt hotels there. SOUND CRAZY and too much trouble??? Well, you said she wasn't thrilled and likes a nice hotel room, like myself, well that way you can REALLY SEE VEGAS and see different hotels. I couldn't imagine staying in the samw 'ole boring room for several days. See the place!!!!

Seamus,

I think you meant to say "That would be so much more to do than gamble, right?" and "Then and than get rather tricky sometimes" (or alternatively, "Then vs. than gets rather tricky sometimes."

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...
|
Dear copy editor:

It's, "Let HIM who is without sin cast the first stone", not, "Let HE...."

Those hims and he's can get rather tricky.

Stayed at Caesar's in April. Even the basic rooms there have wonderful bathrooms (butlousy views). Jacuzzi in each, very large, faux marble-she'll love it.
|
I can relate completely. I too love a great bathroom. We stayed at Caesar's Palace in July. The Palace Tower section have great bathrooms. The maid service was great as well. We left a tip everyday and always got extra "stuff". Hope your wife enjoys Vegas. The shopping is great.

Caesars Palace has great bathrooms. Get one of the rooms with the marble soaking tubs. Luxor bathrooms are good as well - big and clean.
