Looking for the beauty of California north of San Francisco in March! Advice wanted!

Hopefully, we'll have time to stop at the Pelican Inn, though. Sounds just like the kind of place I like to stop at when we're taking even a short trip. We'll be going to Napa in the morning, then heading for a couple of wineries, lunch in St. Helena, and back to San Francisco to drop off the car. It's a lot to squeeze into one short day, but if we leave for Muir Woods in time, I'd think we'd have time for a drink at Pelican Inn.
