looking for scenic areas, or favorite places anywhere in the usa, any season.......

we loved yosemite, rocky mt national park, california coast drive,vermont in the fall, etc. recommendations, please...........

Excellent suggestions for you bodhijack. For a bit of a change of pace from places you have visited and those suggested, California Wine Areas are gorgeous throughout most of the year. Napa/Sonoma, Calaveras County (a favorite of ours), both the Alexander and Anderson Valleys. Mendocino is another place with much to offer.

For a different type trip, Charlottesville and Williamsburg, VA, or the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway and Asheville, NC.
