looking for resort with great pool

We have an 10 yr old son and 18 yr old daughter. Love to stay at resorts with super pools. Any suggestions - we are open to the States (including Hawaii and Carribbean)

There are some resorts that have pools akin to waterparks. I think Atlantis in the Bahamas is a sure winner, Grand Wailaia (ap) in Hawaii, and the Fontainbleu in Miami. Also the Pointe Hiltons in Arizona (one is the Tapataio, I can't remember the name of the other).

Now if a pool is really the main priority and you don't care much about the surrounding area, Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach and the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort have outstanding little waterparks open only to guests, plus they're right on the ocean. I've stayed at both since my kids are like fish when it comes to water, and they stayed in those pools from the minute they opened until they closed, it was great for them.

I prefer the Litchfield Beach and Golf resort because it has my favorite..the lazy river, and the beach there is relatively uncrowded, plus it's south of all the action in Myrtle Beach.

Also, many of the resorts in Orlando have outstanding pools, the Beach and Yacht Club, The Boardwalk, the Swan & Dolphin at Disney, The Hard Rock at Universal, The Marriott Orlando Lakes, Ritz Carlton and I'm sure there are many others.

The Arizona Biltmore and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club.

I think the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress deserves a mention here, too. One of the best pools I have seen anywhere, waterfalls, grottos, a nicely landscaped slide - but no lazy river as far as I recall.

Hyatt Regency in Bonita Springs. Here's what I wrote in my review on Trip Advisor. We went with our 4-year-old.

POOLS: There are several of them. Our favorite was the lagoon pool. It has a gradual beach-like entry on one side. There's a 140-foot winding slide. My husband and I tried it a few times. So much fun!!
There's also an adult lap pool and another pool with a waterfall feature.
There are lots of pool chairs all around the pools, with some umbrellas here and there for shade.
The GREAT thing about all these pools is that the varying depths are CLEARLY marked (from a few inches to 6 feet).

THE OTHER POOLS: I'm talking about the ones at the Hyatt Coconut Plantation. This is the Hyatt Regency's sister property next door. People staying at either place can use the other place's facilities.
The highlight of the Hyatt Coconut Plantation is its lazy river pool. It is FABULOUS and NOT TO BE MISSED. I'm serious. Don't miss it. Without actually timing it, I think it takes 8 to 10 minutes to do the entire river pool on a floaty ring. There are plenty of floaty rings for everyone's use at the entrance of the river pool.
The ride down the river pool is so relaxing and more than enjoyable. Jurassic park-like sounds and birds chirping are piped through speakers along the river pool (yes, kinda cheesy). The deepest depth is 3 feet.
There's also an adult pool, as well as 2 other pools with waterfall features and a beach-like entry on one side.
There's a great kiddie pool with spraying jets. Lots of pool chairs available and the varying depths are clearly marked in those pools too.

The Pointe Hiltons in Scottsdale mentioned previously are called Tapatio and I think, Squaw Peak.
