Looking for Leonards Malasadas in Oahu
 

Hello Everyone,

I'm headed back to the best place on earth- the island of Oahu. This time I am determined to have a "famous" malasada from Leonards.

The problem is I always stay in Ko Olina and I don't want to drive into Honolulu several times for these delicious treats.

Driving around I have seen the trucks in a couple of locations, but I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could find one of the trucks between September 24-October 1st???

Any help is appreciated.
I guess if I have to I'll settle for pie at Ted's Bakery.

I'd contact Leonard's (there's an email address on their website. They had a truck at Waikele outlet mall in Waipahu, but it says it was there through September 5th and it hasn't been updated.

We had them from his truck right near Ko Olina!! I don't remember the name of the shopping center but here's what I remember -- as you are leaving Ko Olina and are headed back to Honolulu, there is a pretty decent sized shopping center on the left side of the road. There is a traffic light and you make a left and then a right into the shopping center. We could see the truck from the road when we were driving from Honolulu to Ko Olina.

Debit, that's the I shopping center I mentioned in Waipahu!

This site lists where the wagons will be. But the dates need to be updated.

The one listed for Waikele Center is the one you can see from H-1. The site says May 1 - Sept 5. But I go to that shopping center a lot & have seen the wagon there every time. There is a K-Mart, Lowes, Sports Authority

When I was there in May, we had one "regular" and one monthly special which happened to be mango-filled --- scrumptious! Have a great time.
