Looking for information on DuBois, PA
 

I am looking at a timeshare in DuBois, PA but I cannot find much information about the area. Is this town in the mountains? Is is very hilly? From the map it appears to be at the base of a mountain range but I would like to be sure. Last year we went to Morgantown, WV and I was sick most of the time from going up and down the mountain side to get anywhere. I am from a rather "flat" town.

Also what is there to do there?

DuBois is in the mountains. If you are considering buying a timeshare there, then you really need to go and visit the area first.

For activities, there are state parks, a lake and a nice golf course.

Treasure Lake/Silverwoods? What week you are there may make a big difference in what there is to do.
DuBois itself is not much better than a lot of western PA towns.
What activities are you looking for?

Yes tomfuller. We are looking at end of April or May. A golf course is about the only "must have" and it looks like they have one close by.

Sunriver in Deschutes County Oregon has 2 golf courses and is much nicer all around if you ever get the chance to go there.

I was raised in PA.... you do know that DuBois is pronounced do boyce ? -:)

Actually, we pronounce it "do boyz"
