Don't waste your time! Seriously, the place is a yawner. Went there last summer, the only excitement I had was from slamming down the gavel on the restricted senate floor of the old capital building. Oh yeah, the paca house, too wasn't bad, but really, you can find a better place to go.

Historic Inns of Annapolis has several very old restored buildings right in the heart of town. Very pleasant town to walk around in. Nice restaurants; boat trips out to the Bay; Naval Academy, etc

You could stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels. It's very nice with a good restaurant. It's about an hour(?) ferry ride to Annapolis.

I started to write a response and then realized your best answers already exist on this site. Do a search on Annapolis at the box above and you will find lots of info (including some of my previous responses about Annapolis). If you have any specific questions other than about B&Bs, please ask. I shall try to help

Annapolis is a great place. Lots of history, the bay, great bars and restaurants. We liked it so much, we moved there.

Don't go to the Perry Cabin. It's stuffy, overpriced, and a hour away. Go to the Cafe Normandie, Rams Head, Northwoods, or the Ying Yankee Cafe for dinner. Catch a show at the Rams Head
