Looking for inexpensive,warm, child-friendly

I am a soon to be single mom (husband wants divorce) who needs to get away on Valentine's day weekend. Looking for somewhere warm, inexpensive and child-friendly. Prefer beach if possible. Leaving from Ohio. Any suggestions? Is Florida even warm in early February? Texas? Bahamas? Any other suggestions?

fl isn't warm enough to swim in Feb. I'd head further south to the Bahamas

The Bucanneer Club in St. Croix is really nice for parents and children. Great beach, warm weather, and a nice kids club if you need some private time.

Florida has been really cold this season. Check with Apple Vacations leaving out of Cincinnati. I saw some great deals in the Sunday Dispatch Travel Section.

Bring yourself and kids to Corpus Christi! We have plenty of beaches and a nice Aquarium. Also, you might enjoy the Lexington Aircraft Carrier.

Jen-Don't know if you looked at the Dispatch today but on the back page of the travel section Northwest had some packages to Puerto Vallarta etc. that included airfare out of Columbus that were reasonable.
