Looking for hotel room for 5 people tonight

We are flying into San Francisco this evening at 7pm. Need a room for 5 people for tonight.. Youngest is age 15. Tomorrow we will be driving thru Muir Woods and Napa Valley and will end up in Lake Tahoe.

Everytime we find a place online that states the room accommodates 5 people, when we call, we are informed that the room has two queen beds and nothing else. We do not want to sleep three to a bed. And we do not want to pay for two rooms. We have been looking off and on for two weeks.

If if you have suggestions for a place we can stay (probably near airport) that truly sleeps 5 people, please let me know.

There are 3 HI hostels in San Francisco. You might end up with bunk beds in dorms. Good luck. My favorite HI hostel is the one in Sacramento but that is out of your way for Muir Woods.

If the hotels are advertising rooms that accomodate 5, they may be including a "rollaway" or crib. If so it would be a cramped room. Call a couple and see. If you havent found anything in two weeks, you may not have any luck. Ive never seen a typical US hotel room with std beds for five. Some hotels that advertise suite rooms could have two queens and a sofa sleeper. Check those.
