Looking for Hotel/Motel near Edison
 

Field as we're going to see the Angels play in June.Anything within walking distance?

There are a few properties not too far away, but as I live nearby I don't have experience as a guest. There's a Best Western on Katella and a Towneplace Suites on State College a little ways from the Big Ed. There's also a Ramada a bit farther down Katella and a Hilton Suites farther up State College. All are less than a mile from the stadium.

That's good to know,rjw...Now we'll decide if we should fly into LAX or SNA-John Wayne.

SNA is quite a bit closer, as is Long Beach (LGB)-- you'll have many more flight choices through SNA, obviously. Having said that, it's not a horrible drive from LAX, and shuttles are plentiful from all area airports.

There's also an Ayre's Country Suites right across the freeway (on Katella) from the Stadium but I have not stayed there since I live in S. CA It looks nice and is also across Katella from the Pond and there are some restaurants nearby.

That Ayres property looks to be an excellent choice, actually. I completely forgot about it! It's practically next door to the Big Ed, and quite nice-looking. Make it your first choice, I'd say!
