Looking for hotel/motel/inn recommendations - Portland, Ogunquit area.

Hi, I'll be traveling to Maine in August for a week and would like to stay somewhere around Portland or Ogunquit for some of that (we're heading to rockland/camden after that). We'll have a 2 yo with us so someplace appropriate for children would be great. Thanks!

We are visiting that area and let me tell you, the places there book fast! I started looking in late March for mid-July and most places were fully booked by then. We ended up booking the Pink Blossoms Resort and it seems really nice. We also had a "fall back" reservation at the Hampton Inn, which I canceled.

Well, we just spent a night at the Meadowmere Resort (motel) in Ogunquit and it was quite nice.

I can only speak to the free brkfst. It was you typical motel free bkfst. Cereal, juice, toast, bagels(?) etc.
