Looking for hiking north of Chattanooga

The second week of March we'll be traveling to the Chattanooga area (Collegedale, TN) for a school event with 5th thru 8th graders. During a break in the weekend we're looking for a nice hike to get the kids outdoors. Last year when we did the same trip we found a great hike near the Lake Ocoee/Ocoee River area. The problem was parking was very tight at the trail head. This year we'll have about 10 cars needing to park so we've got to find another trail. The things I'd like on the trail are:
- less than 1 hour drive from Collegedale, TN (prefer to head north/east)
- decent parking
- some climbing involved for energetic boys

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
