Looking for great Chicago restaurant with kids (6 and 8) for Mother's Day

Hi everyone,
We'll be in Chicago for Mother's Day and wondered if anyone can recommend a great restaurant to go to with our kids--6 and 8 years old. Would like to get reservations now if possible. My daughter goes to Children's Memorial every 3 months so we'll be in the Linclon Park area, but we frequently head downtown so I guess any location would be fine. Thanks so much!

Here's a bump and some questions:

1) What's your price range?
2) Brunch or dinner?
3) Any particular cuisines you like, or cuisines to avoid?

So sorry I haven't responded sooner--Price really isn't an issue, we would rather do dinner, type of cuisine----we like to try different places---maybe a great place for sushi and Japanese? My kids actually love this type of restaurant. Thanks so much.

A friend of mine raves about a Japanese place called Kuni's though it is a bit further north of CMH. Otherwise consider Roys downtown. It is great! Its described as Pacific rim fusion cuisine and they do have sushi as well. The service is terrific and the selections are mouthwatering.

Thanks jacketwatch! Do you know if Roys is the same Roys as in Hawaii? We were on Maui in February and ate at Roys and loved it. Also, where is the Roys downtown Chicago?

Hi Jilla: Yes, it is the same as in Hawaii, owned by Roy Yamaguchi. we found it last summer when we vacationed on the BI. As you know it is terrific. The # is 312 787 7599 and it is located at 1 W. Superior or at State and Superior. Larry
