Looking for good breakfast spot in San Francisco

I'm meeting some old friends for breakfast in San Francisco. I'll be staying at the Marriott on Fourth Street. Is there a good place nearby that serves a nice breakfast?

We were in SF this past Sat/Sun and had yet another good b'fast at Kuleto's on Powell near UnSq.
Good home made Italian sausage and sourdough bread. =P~ =P~

It would be a nice walk for you...work up an appetite?

Dottie's True Blue Cafe - google it. The best breakfast in SF or just abour anywhere else. Perfect for catching up w/ friends.

I second the suggestion for Dottie's. We had breakfast there on a very recent trip to SF as recommended by someone on this board and it was fantastic. We did have to wait in line for about 45 minutes but it was more than worth the wait. I think there would be a line no matter what time you get there.

If you go to Dottie's, make sure it's open. We made a special trip early one midweek day only to find it closed. It wasn't the day our guidebook listed.
