looking for good, authentic Italian in Providence

Jump to last reply

In town only 2 days. looking for some good, authentic Italian...maybe in Federal Hill.

I prefer mom-n-pop over the trendy. People watching is great, but I prefer just good honest food. And if the Hill aint the place, thats fine too...I had just heard it compared to Bostons North End somewhere.....

And I kinda envisioned getting into town late afternoon.....a couple "pops"...some strolling...some pasta......some more walking around...etc.

Any advice is appreciated. Cheers,

brendan
