Looking for Family Friendly Resort in New England

Planning a winter trip over February break and am looking for a condo/resort that has an indoor pool, access to some restaurants. We don't ski so I've mostly been staying away from the higher-priced ski regions. Looking for place that is within a four hour drive (flying is out for this trip) of Boston. Our budget was about $200 a night.

We often head for Cape Cod this time of the year. Many places are closed, but there is a Sheraton Four Points in Eastham that is open and has a pool. As long as there hasn't been snow in the past couple of days, the beaches are fun to walk on and the parking areas do not require parking passes. It is close enough to Provincetown and Welfleet where there are some restaurants to choose from.

The Woodstock Inn in Woodstock Vermont is a large, somewhat upscale hotel with an indoor pool. It is in the heart of one of the most picturesque villages in New England, so there are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. They also offer horse drawn sleigh rides and snowshoeing. Close by is the Billings Farm Museum (great for families), and the college town of Hanover NH with museums, restuarants, theater and shopping.

I really like the Mountain View Grand. It's 2.5 hours north from Boston. I saw a groupon for it just now. It has Indoor pool, ice skating, game room, and lots of activities for kids,

You can find a hotel in Burlington,VT that fits your requirements. It's a great place to visit any season, lots to do and see.

You'll want to look at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa in Hyannis:

You don't need to ski at Sunday River Maine to have a fabulous time at this 8 resort, with 2 huge condo hotels. Outdoor heated pools and hot tubs, snow shoeing, skating, snowtubing and snowmobile rides are all great options. We have been going there for 16 + years . Kids love the pools, video lounge and activities they have going on weekly.Big Buffet breakfasts are also included in the room price. Check it out to see if it fits budget and drive. We always meets tons of people from Boston when we ski there. My favourite place( after skiing) is the heated pool!http://www.sundayriver.com/eventsact...ry_Skiing.html

I hope I'm not too late to be of some help, but try a vacation rental on Cape Cod. Check out www.weneedavacation.com/, which has 2500 Cape Cod rentals.
