During my 8 years at Vanderbilt, as far as I know, no VU students worked at Pancake Pantry.

Sorry, my comments above probably do not apply to Nashville a number of years ago. I suspect the number of restaurants where the average check for two was $500 or more was probably pretty limited. I was referring to really high end restaurants.

There are no restaurants in Nashville, much less in the areas surrounding Vanderbilt's campus, where the average check is $500. "High-end" in the vicinity is $50 per person (i.e., Sunset Grill on Belcourt).

Gekko, are you a practising attorney?

Neopolitan Jul 25th, 2006 04:36 PM

My point exactly.

Is Tin Angel still in business on the West End. I did a lot of business travel to Nashville in three or four years ago and it was a favorite.

What is the restaurant in the West End that is in an old autogarage setting? I think its near Sunset Grill. In the summmer, they open the "garage" door for outdoor seating and the food was awesome.

Is it South Street?
