Looking for "Californian's" Post
I printed out the first couple of pages of "Overwhelmed Californian's First Time to New York - Advice?" (by Johnnyman7) post and want to return to print additions.
However, I can't seem to find it. Can one of the search gurus help with the link? Thanks. |
I can't find it.
At the bottom of your printout you should see the page address - maybe not for the actual thread but for the search page that may have the link. Enter that address in your address field and see if the thread you want shows up. Good luck! |

i_am_kane is a Master of the Search Function!
Kudos! |
i_am_kane,
YES!!!!! Ok. How did you find it other than reading every post? I tried using the search function with no detsinations. I tried Overwhelmed, Johnnyman7, Californian's and a few more. |
Fodors search is terrible. I've had better luck using Goggle to find a specific post. Goggling Johnnyman7 brings up Fodors posts and then clicking on his name in one of the posts brings up a list of his posts.

At second look, I don't think the post would be in Fodor's search engine yet.
Cool, BarbaraS. I wonder if i_am_kane did the same thing. |
myer, post a message to the thread and then it will show up when you click on your own screen name

starsville,
I realize I can post to the thread and then find it. However, I really don't want to post just for the sake of embedding hooks. |
Okey dokey.
It also brings the thread back to the top so others can enjoy it and that was a good thread. |
This is a trick I learned recently. If you put your mouse pointer at the title to the post and right click, it gives you the opportunity to save the post as a favorite. That way, if you care not to add anything or top it, you can still have a link to it.
And it was a good post! H |
Nothing brilliant...all I did was to type in all lower case letters (j instead of J).
Maybe I just got lucky. Glad to help. |
