Looking For Barbeque Sauce
 

When I was younger my mother worked at this wonderful restaurant named Hal's Grubsteak, it was located in Yuba City, CA. They had the best barbeque sauce I ever had... They have since closed and I am wondering if any one out there has eaten there and can share their experience with me or inform me on where to find the sauce.... Thanks so much.

This might be it:

Grubstake BBQ Rib Sauce
Mix the following ingrediants thoroughly:
peaches #10 can (pureed) 1 can
2 C catsup
2 C vinegar
2/3 C soysauce
3 C brown sugar
6 tsp ginger
6 tsp garlic salt
2 tbs salad oil

Lassencounty - your mom worked at Hal's? That place was an institution and I'm still sad that it closed. We dined there whenever we visited that area. Loved their cheeseburgers, chilli, french fries and chocolate shakes! By the way, you're right about the sauce - it was very good!
