Looking for a romantic hotel/motel in College Station Texas. Is that possible?

Will be in that area for a wedding and would like to stay in a romantic hotel/motel/b&b. Is there such an animal in a college town?

www.vineyardcourt.com

Not known for romance, but nice rooms, nice beds and garden pool.

Messina Hof has a B&B. Don't know anything about it though.

I agree with Messina Hof. I've done a tasting at their vineyard (YUM!), and the B&B looked cute.

Besides that, maybe a suite at the Hilton??

There's also the La Salle Hotel in downtown Bryan. Never been their either.

I've never stayed at Messina Hof, but we've been to their wine tasting and restaurant. We love the place. It's a beautiful and somewhere we'd go for a romanctic weekend. Actually we are thinking of going in August. Check their web site for a calendar of events. There is usually something going on. The last time we were there, July 05, they were showing movies on the lawn after dark.

Friends have stayed at Vineyard Court and loved the service, but it doesn't compare to Messina Hof.

Also the Bryan-College Station Visitor web site lists other B&B's but we haven't stayed at any of them or know of anyone who has.

I second (or third or fourth...) Messina Hof. They have a good restaurant, too. Nice vineyard and good wine. Have fun!
