Looking for a great family resort with kids camp or childcare
We're planning a special family vacation in honor of my husband's 50th birthday. Although we'd love to go away for a couple of days on our own, we don't have that option -- so we'd like to find a nice resort that has some kids activities as well. We'll be going in the late summer. We're open to any ideas at this point. Thank you.

you might want to narrow your field down a little bit. Are you wanting somethine like Disney, National Parks, Dude Ranches. Give us just a little bit of what you might be interested in. Is flying an option, etc?

I'm not sure what area you're interested in, but The Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio is pretty family friendly - they have a lazy river that runs around the property that the kids can innertube on, bikes you can ride, restaurants on site, and kids' programs. There's a nice spa on the property if that interests you. It's also located near Sea World.
