Looking for a Bed and breakfast

Hi, I am looking for a bed and breakfast within 2 hours of Boston that would be located in a
downtown area. This way we could walk around the town, do some shopping or eat but without having to drive. Most that I have seen are in the middle of no where. Thanks

Try Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. Both fit the bill.

Or Cape Cod. We stayed in Chatham, at the Queen Anne, which was walkable to a few things, but every town on the Cape has a walkable central area with B&Bs nearby.

Portland, Maine is another great option.

2 hours provides a HUGE circumference of places to stay. Are you traveling by trains, planes or automobiles?

Provincetown, I think it was called the Elizabeth inn. As mentioned, the Cape is full of bnbs.

Also, probably the Salem area as well.
