Long weekend soon with 18 year old daughter

We live in Bothell and want to go somewhere within 3 hours max - maybe on the WA coast. We would be active if the weather was nice or just play games and read, etc. if rainy. Thinking a small vacation rental/condo. Will be 3+ days. Nearby natural attractions would be cool. We were thinking Long Beach or similar. Any ideas?

Thanks!

What about Victoria, BC? I went with my mom years ago and we had a fabulous time. Tea at the Empress. Butchart Gardens. Wandering around Victoria. It was wonderful.

Or, what about Friday Harbor? Staying in a cabin in the San Juans is on my Bucket List. And when I do it, I'm going to take this kayak trip -

Hopefully, by then they'll be offering their 3 day/ B&B combo and I can do that :-)

I really enjoy going to the ocean. I like Long Beach as you've already mentioned, Ocean Shores, Greylands, Tokeland, Westport, that entire area. Very pretty. I know it's 3 hours from Seattle (you go thru Olympia then Aberdeen). Sorry I do not have a specific rental to recommend, but highly recommend the general area and it fits what you describe.

Three hours max is tight. Lake Quinault and Lake Chelan are additional possibilities. This place, north of Ocean Shores may interest you: http://www.seabrookwa.com/

You might try Seabrook. http://www.seabrookwa.com/
The rental houses are really nice and the beach is lovely. It may be within your three hour window - it's near Moclips.
