Long Weekend in Key West: Activities with a Three Year Old?

Hello---My family will be in a Key West for a long weekend soon. Any ideas for outdoor activities we could do with a three year old? I would love to do something involving marine life--but not sure if there is a tour/activity that would be OK with a child this young. Our son is pretty easy going and has been on many kinds of trips. I was hoping to find some recos for tour outfits that aren't too big or booze-cruisey. Would even be open to private tour options. Much thanks in advance.

We did a snorkel tour with Sebago, and there were kids on our tour. Our group was relatively small, and not loud or boozey. If the three year old is comfortable in the water with floaties, you might take a look at it. The cruise out was fun, and sometimes you can see sea turtles. If you drive down through the Keys, I'd stop at Robbie's to feed the tarpon. We haven't done them, but there's also a butterfly conservatory and an Eco Discover center that might be good with young kids. There's also a small aquarium and a Conch Tour train that does a little tour of the island.

Oh and maybe Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden - they have rescued parrots that kids might enjoy.

Take him over to the Sunset Celebration at mallory square... there are street jugglers, animal acts, face painting and a family vibe... tons of kids...

The Butterfly Conservatory! I've been several times and can't get enough of it. Our then one-year old granddaughter was with us last time and she loved it too! Of the sunset cruises, the Jolly Rover seems to be the most child-friendly, though there's a time when they blow a loud sound that might be a little frightening for a youngster. There's a little aquarium that's very child-friendly near Mallory Square where kids can touch the marine life. Volcanogirl, I'm afraid the Secret Garden has closed.

I believe Nancy's has closed.

You could go over to the aquarium, especially during one of the shark feedings ---> http://www.keywestaquarium.com/
