Long-Term Parking at LAX

I'm considering driving from San Diego to LAX for a flight and parking at a long-term covered private garage. As far as I can tell the cost would be about $100. Does anyone have any experience as to how secure these places are? I'd be parking for 2 weeks.

I've never done it, but I know a number of people who have, and have not heard one complaint.

I've never had one problem with the private covered garages in years and years of business travel. Between video surveillance and patrols on electric carts, the cars are watched quite well at the places I use (Wally Park and 105 Airport Parking, most frequently-- as well as the garage next to the Crowne Plaza LAX). Your car should be just fine.

When my husband travels for business (4-5 times a year) he always uses Wally Park and has never had any problems.

Check out the Hacienda Hotel near LAX. You can probably stay the night and leave your car for two weeks for about the same price.

I have parked at the "Parking Spot" (formerly Car Barn) for years and not had any problems there either.

Thanks for all your responses. This seems like a lot better alternative than paying $260 for a round trip flight to LA from San Diego.
