Long Beach Luggage Storage by Aquarium
 

My 12 year old son and I are taking a cruise, and will be dis-embarking on Monday, October 9th in Long Beach. Our plane does not leave Long Beach airport until 2 PM.

We would love to go to the Aquarium between when we get off the cruise and take off on our flight, but we will have our luggage with us. We can get a taxi from the Carnival cruise to the Aquarium.

Does anybody know of a place where we can store our luggage for a few hours??

The quick and easy answer is: Check with Carnival and ask if they could store your luggage for a few hours at the terminal (the old Spruce Dome).

There are no hotels next to the Aquarium, and no storage lockers for luggage that I recall. Having said that, I think the Aquarium has a coat and bag check desk; check their website-- they might be able to accommodate you.

Bear in mind, however: TSA recommends getting to the airport 2 hours ahead of time for domestic travel. Although that's a needlessly long time at a small facility like LGB, I'd get there 1 1/2 hours ahead of time to be safe. The security lines are fast, but they can get a bit long.
