Long Beach Island
 

Looking for restaurant recommendations on Long Beach Island. This would be dinner for adults without kids.

Engleside Inn is one of our favorites. The scallops panko are especially good and they have really great croutons on their salads.

You might enjoy Blue.

The Black Whale in Beach Haven on the Bay Side. Fantastic food. Delicious traditional steamer, soft shell crabs, etc., etc. Also has decent options for landlubbers.

Obviously depends which side of the island you are going to be on...

Plantation in Harvey Cedars has been good, and I would send the Engleside Recommendation. If you are looking for more of a fun time out with decent food, ie fun drinks, Terrace Tavern is OK for that, though not a "foodie" joint by any stretch of the imagination.
