London visit: Kennsington or Hampton Court Palace
We are visiting London for 6 days in February with our 6 and 10 year old daughters. I am looking for input to narrow down our choices of activities. Which would you choose 1) Kennsington or 2) Hampton Court Palace, and between Natural History Museum or the Science Museum. We had also planned on visting the British Museum and The Tower of London. Is this over kill?
and finally -- is the London Eye worthwhile? I had heard that lines can be 2 hours long. Is this true even if you have a ticket for a certain time slot.
Thank you in advance.

There shouldn't be queues for london eye in Feb. My kids 8-14 loved it & we've been on 2 separate visits. You can book tickets in advance via website, but I would wait until you get there. If the weather is clear & bright the view will be better. The tower is also great for kids, especially if you follow one of the beefeater tours which.
both science & nat hist museum are next door to each other and both free so you can pick what interests you in both.

April 2005 there was a minimal - under 10 minute wait - on a beautiful day for London Eye. I think your daughters would love it.
Tower of London vs British Museum might have a weather component to it - at Tower of London one spends quite a bit of time outside between buildings.
