Logan, Warwick or Manchester

Hello! I will be attending a wedding in June in Harvard, Massachusetts and am beginning to look into airline tickets. I will be traveling from Seattle and have been advised (per the bride / groom website) that guests should fly into Boston (Logan), Warwick (RI) or Manchester, NH. Any way that I slice it - the trip will take a long flight coming from the west coast - and there are only 2 direct flights a day on Alaska Airlines (a red eye or really early morning flight). It seems to me that the drive from Boston to Harvard is about an hour - if I don't run into traffic. But the catch is - the wedding is Sunday afternoon - so I have to fly home early Monday morning. I haven't driven in Boston in years and what I'm wondering is:

1 - Is the traffic coming into Logan Airport / Boston area on Monday morning going to be dreadful?

2 - If yes, is it worth driving a bit farther and taking a flight with a connection and flying in / out of Rhode Island or New Hampshire?

I don't have any experience with Warwick, Rhode Island or with Manchester, New Hampshire - but I am eager to find the least stressful option as I will be traveling alone (my husband has a conflict with work that weekend) and I will be almost 7 months pregnant.

Thanks so much for your consideration and insight - I appreciate it!

Did you also check Jet Blue? I think they also have non-stops from SEA-BOS.

As much as I love the convenient in-and-out of PVD (Warwick), I think a non-stop flight is a better option for your situation. It makes for a much shorter day and less stress about missing connections. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any non-stops into PVD from the west coast.

Traffic on Monday morning will be lousy whether it is Boston, Warwick or Manchester. Maybe you can get a hotel near the airport on Sunday night?

Good luck!

Yes, the traffic will be heavy on Monday morning coming into Boston.

I'd try Manchester, it's much closer than Providence and you shouldn't have a problem with traffic on Mon morning.

Boston or Manchester. I wouldn't consider Providence/Warwick, since you'd have to go right through the city to get to the airport, which is a few miles south of downtown. At least in Boston, you can just shoot through on the Turnpike.

Y'all - thanks so much for your responses. I'm going to check into Manchester and see what I can find. I also just looked into JetBlue and just about fell off of my chair - the fares are hundreds less than what I was finding with Alaska / United, etc.

Thanks again for your kind help.
