Lodging Seattle/San Juan's/Victoria
I'm looking for lodging in Seattle, the San Juan Islands and Victoria Island this July. B & B's are the first choice. Maybe I'm dreaming, but I'd like to stay at $100 or less per night. Suggestions?

for seattle check ot these bed and breakfasts that should be right around your price range: Gas Light Inn 1-206-325-3654. Roberta's 1-206-329-3326. Salisbury House 1-206-328-8682. All of these are very pleasant, comfortable and come with wonderful breakfast. Have fun!

Back in '98 my friends and I went to Seattle, Orcas Island and Victoria. That was one of the nicest trips I've ever taken. We only spent 1 day in Seattle. We did have lunch at the Space Needle (very good crab cakes). Then we drove up to Anacortes to take the ferry over to Orcas Island. While in Anacortes we stayed at Ship Harbor Inn 800-852-8568. Then on Orcas Island we stayed a few days at Buck Bay Farm Bed & Breakfast 360-376-2908. In Victoria we stayed at Top O’Triangle Mountain Bed & Breakfast - 20 minutes from downtown Victoria 250-478-7853. All of these were inexpensive, but comfortable and nice. Especially the two B&B's.

Enjoy your trip!

When we were in Victoria a couple of years ago we stayed at the Green Gables. It's a boutique hotel in a residential area just a couple of blocks from the inner harbor. We loved it.

Do you mean $100 US dollars?

In Victoria I'd be inclined to stay in the James Bay area to be within walking distance to the main sights. There are many B&B's in this area. To name just two:
Holland House $100 - 300 CDN
The Berry House $75 to $95

A lovely walking neighbourhood away from downtown is Rockland and there are many B&Bs there too, for instance:
B&B at a Hidden Garden $125
Dreemskerry $85 to $160
Prior House $115 to $285
Fairholme Manor $125-$275

One of the better deals if you don't mind staying at the other end of town at something other than a B&B are the Travellers Inns starting at about $80.00 high season.

Don't forget federal and provincial taxes are probably added to these prices.
