Lodging on PEI and Nova Scotia

I need to book lodging quick for our July trip to PEI and Nova Scotia. Price is no object. Would appreciate any travel advice to this area by fellow travel lovers or locals.

We stayed at the Delta Barrington in Halifax, Digby Pines Resort in Digby, Liscombe Lodge in Liscombe, and Keltic Lodge in Ingonish. On PEI we stayed at Prince Edward Hotel, Charlottetown. All the places on Nova Scotia were absolutely superb in every way. The Prince Edward Hotel on PEI was very good also, but nothing special.

We stayed at the Blomidon Inn in Wolfville. It is a wonderful place to stay and they have a package deal which includes dinner, tea, breakfast. It was all extremely enjoyable.

I am interested in traveling to Prince Edward Island this August and want to know what part of the island is the most scenic? What were some of the best B&Bs? What is the best way to get there from Ohio?

Merci!

Shaw's at the beach is the best place to stay. Great food and extremely comforable rooms. Ask for a cabin. Don't miss the Art museum in Charlottetown (world class).

The Keltic Lodge on Cape Brenton Island is heaven on earth. The hiking is great, the golf is better. I'm buying land there next year
