lodging on park city mountain

I'm in the early stages of planning a vacation to park city for the 04/05 ski season, and I am looking for advice/recommendations on lodging. I plan on skiing at the Park City Mountain Resort, and I would like to stay on the mountain. Any input on hotels/condos with ski-in/ ski-out/walk to lifts access is greatly appreciated!

Hi Axm,

The Marriott Mountainside is right at the base lodge area, as are condos under property management called David Holland Properties. But - there is no reason to limit yourself to these properties.

There are many hotels and condos that are right on the free shuttle bus routes and the shuttles can take you to all 3 ski areas in Park City, PCMR, Deer Valley, and the Canyons. They also go to Historic Main Street and other places.

Write back if you want more info. I live in Park City. Also, check out www.parkcityinfo.com

Have fun!

Thanks for the info! Has anyone ever stayed at The Lodge @ Mountain Village?

Well you've got me. I've never heard of that one. Is there more to the name and where is it supposed to be?

It's next to the marriott mountainside. It's actually on the resort. The website is www.thelodgepc.com.

OK, now I know where they are. I'm used to calling them the David Holland Properties. They are European style condos, where retail shops & restaurants are on the ground level and the condos are above. Last I saw them, they nice, but not as nice as the Marriott which is much newer. They are actually part of the base resort.
