Lodging in Tucson

We originally thought a B&B might be the way to go, but many of the nice ones seem to already be booked for the dates we need. I would like to stay around $150 per night for lodging. Any thoughts on afrea hotels that are nic and centrally located t the heart of town?

check www.biddingfortravel.com and bid on Priceline. You can get a nice hotel for less than $150.

Hi,

We stayed at Lodge on the Desert the night of my wedding. Simply beautiful, charming room!!!

Not sure what the rates are nowadays. It is more of a small, private inn than a hotel.

It is fairly central, but is about fifteen minutes from downtown and the university. Not alot to walk to from there if thats important to you, but it would be easy to get to the east mountains or even head west from the location.

Good luck!

We stayed at the Catalina Park Inn and I would highly recommend it. It has fabulous rooms and wonderful breakfasts with great hosts.

Not sure about rates but check the Marriot at the University - centrally located. Stay away from The Sheraton Four Points. If you are coming to Tucson any time in February it'll be tough to find a place and prices will be high due to the Gem and Mineral Show.
