Lodging in Trinity Alps area of Northern California

Would appreciate advice on comfortable non-motel accomodations in the Trinity Alps area of northern California. Will need to spend only two nights there as part of a two-week tour of northern cal. this summer. Lodges or B and B's ok if they don't mind children.

Hope you found something in '98. We plan to do that this year.

Any suggestions anyone?

Friends of our rave about the Carrville Inn in Trinity Center, but according to my books it only takes older kids. Couple of other suggestions--Weaverville is a very picturesque town--the entire town is a National Historic Place. Loctated there are The Old Yellow House , Granny's House, and the Weaverville Victorian Inn. Don't have firsthand knowledge of any of them, however they come from a book we use as a bible for weekend trips in CA and it's never steered us wrong. There's also the Lewiston Inn and the Coffee Creek Guest Ranch, recommended for families. This is an area not usually visited by tourists, so be sure to post a trip report. Good luck, it sounds like a nice stop.
