Lodging in or Near Sedona

Wife and I will be travelling to Sedona in October. Need a nice reasonable place to stay. Any ideas?

You might want to give a price range. 'Reasonable' means different things to different people.

We stayed in Sky Ranch Lodge for a night in Sedona. It was great value.

Can you give a bit more information? How much would you like to spend and how many are in your party? Are you looking for a hotel or a timeshare/condo? Do you want a fabulous view or will you be spending no time in the room?

There are plenty of places to stay in Sedona from less expensive to deeply expensive. I didn't see much for "cheap".

Its a fabulous town.

ps. we stayed at the Hyatt Pinion Point time shares/vacation club. It was very very nice; alot of stairs if that will be an issue. A great discount card that we used at some of the better restaurants in town, including Cowboy Club. Each morning we went across the side street to the Wild Flower bread company for fabulous breakfast items and steamed milk to go along with the coffee we made in the suite.

My idea of reasonable is less than $150 per night. We will not be spending a lot of time in the room so the view is not real important. Probably will be spending about 3 or 4 nights in Sedona.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Ken,

we just checked in at the Matterhorn motel, right in center of town. I'm out on the balcony and it is beautiful. We are paying 125 a night. check out their website.

We thought the Orchard Inn right down town was reasonable last Oct at $99/night (I believe it was an internet price quite a bit in advance of trip dates?). You may not stay in your room that much, but when you get up in the a.m or whenever you return, you will continually comment about the great view you have from your room's balcony -- the best closeup view of the Snoopy and other red rocks in town. It's a little older place but maintained and supplied exceptionally well. You do climb steps (there could be an elevator, but we didn't use it if there was). Do the Trolley sight seeing routes for a good lay of the land tour (very reasonable)and the Pink Jeep Tour for a fun thing along with some good red rock viewing. Other fun things (like sunset viewing sites) and some good eating places there, as well.Have fun -- know you will.
