Lodgeing near Rocky Mountian National Park?????
We are arriveing in Denver on Sept. 28. leaving for Moab on the 30th. I would like to see some of Rocky Mountain National Park. Where do you suggest would be a good town to stay in? Is Estes Park a good choice or are there more? Also will be driving back a week later, any good routes to consider on the way back? Thanks!

"The Shining" was filmed best right at the entrance in Estes Park your best town... betterbidding.com booking.com other cheaper Estes Park options...head over the spine of the rockies down to Grand Lake on your way back a very nice cute little lake town where the Colorado River originates. Have fun! |

I would recommend staying in Estes Park and if you can (I don't know how many people are included in your trip) stay at:
http://www.fallrivercabins.com/Index.html My husband & I absolutely LOVE these cabins! I checked your dates and the Juniper & Pinecone are available. We have stayed in both and love them! We will actually be there Oct 1-8 for our fourth stay with the Fall River Cabins. |
Thanks!!!!
